Bluetooth Pairing for Your Hyundai Tucson

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows you to exchange data and voice between your phone and your car.

You can use Bluetooth to make and receive calls, play music, and access some of your phone’s apps on the car’s touchscreen.

To pair your phone with your Tucson using Bluetooth, you’ll need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Park your car and hit the Setup button on the infotainment system. Click on the Bluetooth icon. Next, choose Bluetooth Connections. Finally, tap the Add New button.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and choose the name corresponding to the car name on the screen. Your phone will display a pairing request. To connect, select Pair.
  3. Once your phone is paired, you can use the steering wheel controls, voice commands, or the touchscreen to access your phone’s features. You can also adjust the volume, mute, and switch between devices using the buttons on the dashboard.

That’s it! You’re now ready to enjoy your phone’s capabilities on your Tucson.

You can pair up to five devices with your car, but only one can be active at a time.

To switch between devices, go to the Bluetooth Connections menu and select the device you want to use.

Wireless Android Auto for Your Hyundai Tucson

If you have an Android phone and a 2020 or 2021 Hyundai Tucson, you can also use wireless Android Auto to connect your phone to your car.

Android Auto is a smart driving companion that lets you use Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play Music, and other apps on your car’s display.

To use wireless Android Auto, you’ll need to follow these steps:

  1. Enable WiFi and Bluetooth on your Android device. Press the Setup button on the infotainment system in your Tucson. Select Device Connections. Select the Phone Projection tab. Press the Add New button.
  2. Select your vehicle name, “Tucson”, on your Android phone’s Bluetooth discovery list.
  3. Once your phone is paired, you’ll see the Android Auto icon on your car’s screen. Tap it to launch the app. You can also use the voice button on the steering wheel to activate Google Assistant.
  4. You can now use your phone’s apps on your car’s display. You can customize the app launcher, access notifications, and change settings using the menu button in the bottom left corner.

Wireless Android Auto is a great way to enjoy your phone’s features without plugging in a cable.

However, it may drain your phone’s battery faster, so you may want to use a wireless charger or a USB port to keep it charged.
